Quality - Science or Art

There is always a discussion, whether Quality Management is a Science or Art?

• It is science if it works on a predicatable patterns and rules. If there is explaination for action and reaction.
• It is art, if there is no explaination for the outcome.

The real fact is that it is neither science nor art. It is just bullshit.

Companies talk about Quality, show off their Quality certificates (lets not talk at this time, how and why these certificates are obtained), but is is just plain talk.
